This genuine silk houmongi features clouds that are filled with fans that are filled with patterns. The lines of many of the fans were actually hand drawn by expert kimono artists here in Kyoto.

You can also see that there are diamond patterns weaved into the fabric, and the kimono was meticulously crafted to ensure that this pattern lines up across the entire piece.
